In this article I'll explain on how to get connected to the internet in Ubuntu, if your broadband has a Username and a Password. Its real simple.
- Your Ethernet card should be supported and its driver should be installed. (All major ethernet cards are supported by Ubuntu like BSNL, MTNL, Airtel etc.,)
- Goto Applications-> Accessories-> Terminal
- Type in sudo pppoeconf
- Enter you Username and password. Beware : The password will be visible on the screen.
- Go ahead., open Mozilla and start browsing..
